Shales like the Eagle Ford will propel the United States into a net exporter by the late 2020’s. According to a new report from the International Energy Agency. “The U.S. will become the undisputed global oil and gas leader for decades to come,”
The International Energy Agency announced that the United States will account for 80% of the increase in world oil supply between now and 2025. The driving forces are shale producers finding more efficient ways to pump oil profitably – at lower prices. By the late 2020s, the United States will become a net exporter of oil for the first time since the 50s.
