Eagle Ford Report Highlights
- Overall economic impact for the 21-county area in 2013 = $87 billion, up from $61 billion in 2012.
- Exceeding expectations from just one year ago, UTSA now forecasts $137 billion for 2022. Up from the previous $89 billion forecast – all becasue the Eagle Ford continues to exceed expectations in terms of production.
- US manufacturing is getting a boost with the natural gas renaissance provided by Eagle Ford. New LNG plants and refineries are also driving manufacturing.
- The report breaks down the economic impact by county over the 15 county core area of Eagle Ford.
