Skyonic Begins Construction on Nation’s First Commercial-­‐Scale Carbon Capture and Mineralization Plant

Skyonic’s Capitol SkyMine carbon capture and mineralization plant breaks ground this week at Capitol Aggregates Cement Factory in San Antonio

AUSTIN, Texas –Sept. 30, 2013 – Skyonic Corporation is hosting a groundbreaking event today at its Capitol SkyMine plant in San Antonio.
Once fully operational in 2014, the plant, which is the first of its kind in the United States, is expected to capture 300,000 tons of CO2 annually through the direct capture of 75,000 tons and additional 225,000 tons that will be offset by the production of green products.
